About
Set on a futuristic ship that sails across the sea, Captain Kara, first mate Winston and their crew encounter 5 online safety scenarios on their travels. When they need advice, they call on a group of savvy kids called the SMART crew who help them out. The animations are really engaging for Lower Key Stage 2 children and the ship's robotic monkey also provides some good entertainment! Each video ends with advice based on each of the 5 SMART rules: Keeping information SAFE, MEETING strangers online, ACCEPTING suspicious emails or messages, Making sure information is RELIABLE and being able to TELL a trusted adult if you have a problem.
